{"id":1297,"date":"2024-10-06T10:52:09","date_gmt":"2024-10-06T10:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ilikecarrots.com\/?p=1297"},"modified":"2024-10-06T10:52:09","modified_gmt":"2024-10-06T10:52:09","slug":"flying-circus-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carrotseverywhere.com\/?p=1297","title":{"rendered":"Flying Circus 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been going to the <a href=\"https:\/\/flyingcircusairshow.com\"><strong>Flying Circus Airshow<\/strong> <\/a>in Bealeton, Virginia since 2001, when <strong>three<\/strong> of us met there.<\/p>\n<p>This year, stopped at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/p\/BBQ-Country-100057307455373\/\"><strong>BBQ Country<\/strong><\/a> (9719 James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, VA | (540) 439-6904) so we could have a picnic onsite. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first year Chris Edwards wasn&#8217;t the announcer. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cherrypointairshow.com\/performers\/in-the-air\/rooster-schmidle-airshows\">Rooster<\/a> was the aerobatic flyer in a Pitts S-2B. The wing walker was a very young woman.<\/p>\n<p>On the way back, we went to <strong>Moo Thru<\/strong> in nearby Remington, where more people wait in the car drive through than wait in the people line. They were out of the pumpkin caramel swirl, but the salted caramel was tasty.<\/p>\n<p>We made a pit stop at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.messicksfarmmarket.com\/\">Messick&#8217;s Farm Marke<\/a>t<\/strong> &#8211; we forgot they have frozen custard, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been going to the Flying Circus Airshow in Bealeton, Virginia since 2001, when three of us met there.
